Basketball Game Preview: Durango Demons vs. Palisade Bulldogs

The Durango Demons will face off against the Palisade Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Durango will be strutting in after a victory while Palisade will be coming in after a loss.

Durango is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pagosa Springs 75-46 on Tuesday. Given the Demons' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Pirates are ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palisade was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-38 to Montrose. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Palisade's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Durango, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
