Johnston City entered their tilt with Harrisburg on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 last Wednesday.

The result came thanks to Carlee Rogers's shutout, as she gave up just a hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.

Johnston City pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Harrisburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-8 record.

Johnston City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-12 win against Crab Orchard on the 17th. As for Harrisburg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Carmi-White County on the 21st.
