DuBois Central Catholic won against Kane on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cardinals didn't even let the Johnsonburg Rams on the board, marking the Cardinals' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aiden Snowberger made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Brayden Zatsick was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Porter Price also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for DuBois Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 14-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Johnsonburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, DuBois Central Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Brockway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnsonburg, they will host Coudersport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
