Basketball Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss

Rangeview saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 51-47 to the Chandler Wolves.

Chandler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karis Hurd led the charge by putting up ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Markayla Shirley was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chandler, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Rangeview and Chandler will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Raiders see the court they'll take on Rock Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Chandler, their break will end when they face Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
