Baseball Recap: Louise Takes a Loss

Louise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ganado Indians, falling 27-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 20-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Louise's record is now 0-4. As for Ganado, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Coming up, Louise will take on Rice Consolidated in a tournament on Friday. Louise has given up an average of 18.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Ganado, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hallettsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Hallettsville: 2.4, Ganado: 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
