Volleyball Recap: Etiwanda Gets the Win

Etiwanda lost to Valley Christian back in September of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Defenders by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Etiwanda found their leader in freshman Kamryn Andrews, who had 12 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Olivia Zajicek, who had ten digs.

Etiwanda's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Etiwanda will square off against Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they will host Pacifica Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Defenders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
