Baseball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Harrells Christian Academy lost against Faith Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Harrells Christian Academy fell just short of Faith Christian by a score of 3-1.

Harrells Christian Academy got a good showing from Reid Strickland, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits Strickland has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Harrells Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Harrells Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Faith Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against Village Christian Academy on the 21st. Hopefully Harrells Christian Academy payed attention to Faith Christian's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Faith Christian at 4:00 p.m. on April 1.
