Meanwhile, Shepard got themselves on the board against Hillcrest on Tuesday, but Hillcrest never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Hawks. The victory continues a trend for the Astros in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Thornton Fractional South's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Shepard, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
