If Crawford was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Minatare last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Chadron Cardinals on Thursday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Peyton Osmotherly paced Crawford's offense, picking up four kills. Osmotherly were helped by Kember Mittan and Kylee Osmotherly, who contributed four assists each.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Chadron, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-13 record this season.

Crawford has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Valentine on the 16th. As for Chadron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alliance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
