Softball Game Preview: Nicholas County Bluejackets vs. Lynn Camp Wildcats

The Nicholas County Bluejackets will head out to take on the Lynn Camp Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Nicholas County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Paul Laurence Dunbar just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 19-5.

Nicholas County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sidney Sexton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Sexton's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Lynn Camp lost 18-5 to McCreary Central on Friday.

Lynn Camp's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Nicholas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-1.
