Volleyball Recap: Chatfield Gets the Win

After losing to Southwest Christian the last time they met, Chatfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Gophers came out on top against the Stars by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gophers.

Harper Goldsmith paced Chatfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Goldsmith really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Chatfield's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Southwest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chatfield will face off against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Christian, they will challenge Belle Plaine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
