Volleyball Recap: Beech Takes a Loss

Beech lost against Gallatin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers lost 3-0 to the Green Wave.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-14.

Gallatin was led to victory by Skylar Wilson and Chloe Wix. Wilson had nine digs and five aces, while Wix had ten assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Wix has posted since back in August.

Beech has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Gallatin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Beech will take on rival Hendersonville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gallatin is set to square off against their familiar foe Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
