Quartz Hill had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Littlerock on Tuesday. The Royals never let the Lobos get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Nina Sepulveda made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Quartz Hill let Leanna Medina and Katrina Ramirez run wild. Medina scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Ramirez has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Rylee Christensen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Quartz Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They are 13-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Quartz Hill's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Littlerock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Quartz Hill will face off against Eastside at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Littlerock, they will square off against Palmdale at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
