Basketball Recap: Nash Central Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Nash Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Northern Nash Knights and fell 86-57. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 80-38 to the Knights when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Christian Barnes had a dynamite game For Northern Nash., almost dropping a triple-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Barnes a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kingston Little, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.

Northern Nash has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Nash Central will venture away from home to face off against Southern Nash at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northern Nash, they will welcome Roanoke Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
