West and Troy are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. West will venture away from home to square off against Troy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jae Jae Phillips, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3.
