Basketball Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

If Strasburg was riding high fresh off their 76-45 takedown of Page County last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Strasburg Rams came up short against the Central Woodstock Falcons on Friday, falling 64-41. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Falcons are ranked 81st).

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Central Woodstock, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road.

While Strasburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
