Softball Recap: Keystone Triumphs

The Keystone Wildcats beat the Avonworth Antelopes 9-5 on Wednesday.

Macie Banks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Bristol Foster was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Anna Wright was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

The win got Keystone back to even at 1-1. As for Avonworth, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Keystone will face off against Johnsonville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Avonworth, they will welcome Plum at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
