Carroll moved up to 429 from 465 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Greater Catholic - North. The Patriots climbed the ranks as a result of a 29-13 win over Purcell Marian.
Archbishop Alter extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Archbishop McNicholas, 35-27. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Knights.
Chaminade-Julienne's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Harrison threw for 21 yards and Tyler Traylor had nine yards receiving. On the ground Antwan Persons chipped in 61 yards. Wesley Lumpkin helped Chaminade-Julienne's passing attack out by catching two balls for eight yards.
Chaminade-Julienne's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Harrison has thrown for 553 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Lumpkin has 17 catches for 183 yards. Persons leads the league in rushing with 608 yards.
A big matchup in Greater Catholic - North this week will be when Carroll takes on Archbishop Alter. At the moment, Steve Bartlett's team is in fourth, while Ed Domsitz's team is in first.
Bishop Fenwick took down Roger Bacon 56-26 last week, the largest margin of any game.
