Zillah has gone 8-0 against Royal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Zillah Leopards will venture away from home to challenge the Royal Knights at 5:15 p.m. Zillah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Royal likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Zillah wrapped up 2024 with a 57-39 victory over King's. Given the Leopards' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Knights are ranked 161st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Royal put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Riverside, posting a 78-39 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Zillah pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Royal, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Zillah was able to grind out a solid victory over Royal when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 64-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Zillah since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
