Football Game Recap: Murray County vs. Sonoraville

After a disappointing 0 points in the game before, Sonoraville made sure to put some points up on the board against Murray County on Friday. Sonoraville steamrollered Murray County 62-18. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Sonoraville's flat performance the contest before.

Sonoraville got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Murray County and cruised to a 48-point first half. Murray County came up with 15 to make it 48-15 heading into the break. The Sonoraville defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The win got Sonoraville back to even at 2-2. Murray County are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Next week Sonoraville take on Ringgold at 7:30 PM. Sonoraville will be strutting in after a victory while Ringgold will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Murray County, they will face off against North Murray.
