Softball Recap: Lake Hornets vs. Sebastopol Bobcats

Lake lost against Sebastopol back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Hornets fell 22-17 to the Sebastopol Bobcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (ten), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Alyssa Sockey stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and four RBI. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Lydaysha Thames was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
