Volleyball Recap: Wind River Comes Up Short

Wind River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wright Panthers. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wind River's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wright, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Wind River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sundance on the 12th. As for Wright, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Greybull on the 12th.
