North Duplin came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the East Bladen Eagles 3-0.
North Duplin was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-17.
Maggie Brown paced North Duplin's offense, picking up eight kills. Brown got some help from Lilly Fulghum and her 15 assists. Gracie Higginbotham controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
North Duplin's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for East Bladen, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
