Baseball Recap: Lockport's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Lockport fell victim to Ventura and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The loss put an end to the Porters' undefeated start to the season.

Lockport got a good showing from Nate Gorecki, who pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lockport fell to 2-1. As for Ventura, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Lockport will host Chicago Mt. Carmel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ventura, they will venture away from home to square off against George Washington at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
