Basketball Recap: Chippewa Comes Up Short

Chippewa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The match between them and the Manchester Panthers didn't end well, with the Chippewa Chipps falling 67-48. The Chipps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Chippewa's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Manchester, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chippewa will finish 2024 at home by hosting Rittman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Manchester Panthers duke it out with the Canton South Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
