After flying high against Minneapolis Southwest on Thursday, Wayzata came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Eden Prairie Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Wayzata's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Eden Prairie, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Wayzata will take on Maple Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eden Prairie, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Waconia on the 10th.
