Baseball Recap: Montbello Comes Up Short

Montbello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Skyline Falcons.

Montbello saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicolas Torres, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2.

Montbello's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Skyline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montbello will head out to challenge Denver North at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will challenge Horizon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
