Volleyball Recap: Austin Catholic Has No Trouble Against New Life Christian Academy + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Austin Catholic walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the New Life Christian Academy Knights on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Among those leading the charge was Josie Boutorwick, who had six digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Boutorwick wasn't the only good servers: Austin Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Austin Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-18-2 record this season. As for New Life Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Austin Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cardinal Mooney Catholic on the 5th. New Life Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
