Basketball Recap: Union Star Takes a Loss

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 73-15 defeat at the hands of the South Holt Knights. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union Star's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for South Holt, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.

After both having extra time off, Union Star and Northeast Nodaway will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for South Holt, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Platte at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
