Basketball Game Preview: Globe Tigers vs. Apache Junction Prospectors

The Globe Tigers will face off against the Apache Junction Prospectors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Globe is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Globe took a blow against Willcox, falling 72-42. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Cowboys are ranked 116th).

Meanwhile, Apache Junction was beaten by Gilbert Christian 70-19 on Wednesday.

Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Globe, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
