Baseball Recap: Bay Takes a Loss

Bay fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Belleview on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Belleview Rattlers by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tornadoes have suffered since April 30, 2024.

Bay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eliott Richter, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Bay has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. With the win, Belleview broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay will welcome LAMP at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belleview, they will challenge Edgewater at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Edgewater is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
