Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Loss

Harrisburg lost against Central Dauphin on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Harrisburg Cougars took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Dauphin Rams. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Rams are ranked 16th).

Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Central Dauphin, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Harrisburg will venture away from home to square off against Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carlisle will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Harrisburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Dauphin, they will welcome Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Dauphin is facing Altoona at the right time seeing as Altoona is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
