Cedar Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 35-6 win over Triton. Considering the Pirates have won six contests by more than 28 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

23 must be Pleasantville's lucky number: they beat Delsea with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Greyhounds beat the Crusaders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 23-14. Winning may never get old, but the Greyhounds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cedar Creek's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Pleasantville, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for Cedar Creek against Pleasantville in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
