Soccer Game Preview: Canfield vs. Aurora

The Canfield Cardinals will face off against the Aurora Greenmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Canfield proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Howland get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Canfield's winning goal came courtesy of Gianna Marino.

Meanwhile, Aurora got the win against Tallmadge on Thursday by a conclusive 4-0. The result was nothing new for Aurora, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Aurora has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those ten matches. As for Canfield, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
