Baseball Recap: Mid-Pacific Institute Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Damien

Mid-Pacific Institute faced Damien in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Owls fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

Mid-Pacific Institute has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Damien, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
