Baseball Recap: Broughton Takes a Loss

Broughton was the 2-1 winner over Athens Drive when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Capitals fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday.

Broughton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Vannoy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Broughton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Athens Drive, they pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Broughton nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
