Elida extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 8-4. They never let the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 10-8 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

As for Ottawa-Glandorf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6. The game marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Ottawa-Glandorf's part, Nolan Duling was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The Titans are 4-2 when Duling allows one or fewer earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise.
