Basketball Game Preview: Lexington Eagles vs. Little River Academy Bumblebees

Lexington is 0-10 against Little River Academy since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Lexington Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Little River Academy Bumblebees at 1:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lexington is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against La Grange on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lexington came up short against La Grange, falling 73-49.

Meanwhile, Little River Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-40 heartbreaker at the hands of McGregor.

Little River Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lexington came up short against Little River Academy when the teams last played back in January, falling 56-48. Can Lexington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
