Basketball Recap: Pantego Christian Victorious

Pantego Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They managed a 54-48 victory over the Cooper Dragons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2016.

Evan Jackson was his usual excellent self, shooting 67% from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. Aj Brooks was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.

Pantego Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cooper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Pantego Christian has already played their next game, a 57-49 win against Concordia Lutheran on the 25th. Cooper has also already played their next matchup (against Lake Country Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
