Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against Normandy last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Northwest Lions might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 58-57 to the Normandy Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Normandy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Northwest will venture away from home to face off against Herculaneum at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwest is facing Herculaneum at the right time seeing as Herculaneum is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Normandy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clayton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
