Glendale was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Glendale, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Glendale's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Springfield Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.

The Falcons (ranked 35th) will meet Waynesville (ranked 116th) at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Springfield Catholic will challenge Bolivar at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (22 vs. 114).
