Soccer Recap: Overton Victorious

While Overton's win against Lawson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats beat the Lightning by a goal, winning 2-1. Overton have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Lawson on Tuesday, too.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Lawson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overton will face off against KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawson, they will square off against Maplewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawson will be up against Maplewood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.86 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
