Basketball Recap: Stockton Takes a Loss

Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the East Dubuque Warriors and fell 72-33. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Warriors are ranked 204th).

Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for East Dubuque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stockton and East Dubuque will both be playing Scales Mound the next time they take the court. East Dubuque will host Scales Mound at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Stockton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
