Basketball Recap: St. Helena College and Career Academy Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

After losing to French Settlement the last time they met, St. Helena College and Career Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks walked away with a 49-37 victory over the French Settlement Lions on Friday.

St. Helena College and Career Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for French Settlement, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 21-15 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Helena College and Career Academy will take on Pope John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. French Settlement has already played their next game (against Mandeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
