Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Nicholas Wolfe stepped things up a notch to give New Buffalo the 'W'. Wolfe scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The effort marked the most stolen bases he has had since back in May of 2024.

Wolfe's strong effort led New Buffalo over Eau Claire and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers are limping into the matchup having lost five straight at home dating back to last season.
