Vinemont entered their tilt with Susan Moore on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 17 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Rylan McRae made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rush Sandlin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hayden Robinson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

Vinemont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Susan Moore only managed seven hits.

Vinemont's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Susan Moore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Vinemont will have a chance to go back-to-back against Susan Moore: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
