Apex Friendship won the last time they faced Cary, and Jasmine Nivar did her part to make sure it happened again. The Apex Friendship Patriots came out on top against the Cary Imps by a score of 47-34 on Tuesday thanks to Nivar, who went 9-for-15 on her way to 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Nivar is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Cary lost, don't look at Lola Haley. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-9 en route to 15 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Haley a new career-high in points. Zaina Nasr also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Apex Friendship is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. As for Cary, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13.
