Volleyball Recap: Williamson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Williamson entered their tilt with Galeton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Williamson's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 25-13.

Olivia Nolan paced Williamson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nolan got some help from Raegan Vangorden and her 16 assists. Nolan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Williamson's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for Galeton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Williamson will be playing at home against Wyalusing Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Smethport at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
