Pope John XXIII had just enough and edged out the Lenape Valley Patriots 7-6 on Saturday.

The victory got Pope John XXIII back to even at 7-7. As for Lenape Valley, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pope John XXIII will square off against Roxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lenape Valley, they will take on Dover at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.73 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
