Fort Dorchester hadn't done well against West Ashley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Patriots walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Wildcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-1 victory last Wednesday.

The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games.
